Kevin became a police officer because he truly wanted to help people. He was committed to making his community a safer place. In addition to his normal duties, he volunteered at schools in underprivileged, high-risk areas because helping children was his passion.

He graduated at the top of his academy class and received several commendations throughout his six years of service with the Dallas Police Department. Some might say he was the epitome of the perfect officer: dedicated, smart, compassionate, and with a great sense of humor.

In his presence, you could expect practical jokes and laughter, and some of the funniest stories ever told but also compassion, love, devotion, honesty, humility, and just plain goodness. He was a treasure that will forever be missed by all who knew and loved him.
