Of the 2,977 victims killed on September 11th, 343 FDNY members made the Supreme Sacrifice. Today we honor the brave men of Rescue 5 lost during the attacks. Since 2012, the Carry The Load National Relay has stopped at Rescue 5 to honor our fallen heroes.
