Why We Carry The Load

Carry The Load was founded on a simple belief: the sacrifice of our nation’s heroes should never be forgotten, and the weight of that sacrifice should never be carried alone. Through community-driven events, fundraising, and remembrance, we honor the fallen, support families, and stand alongside those who continue to serve.

About Carry The Load

Carry The Load is a non-profit organization that exists to actively connect Americans to the sacrifices made by our military, first responders, and their families. What started in 2011 as a grassroots effort by Veteran U.S. Navy SEALs, Clint Bruce and Stephen Holley has now grown into a nationwide movement with people honoring and remembering our nation’s heroes throughout the year.

Mission. Vision.

What Guides Everything We Do

Carry The Load is built on more than events or fundraising, it is driven by a clear mission and vision that shape how we serve, remember, and support those affected by service. These principles guide our actions and keep our work focused on lasting impact.

To provide active ways to honor and remember our nation’s heroes by connecting Americans to the sacrifices made by our military, veterans, first responders, and their families.

To unite all Americans in a nationwide movement that honors the sacrifices made by our nation’s heroes.
