Lance Corporal James Ray Davenport served in the United States Marine Corps, deploying to Iraq’s Anbar Province in 2006. As a Marine, he carried out his duties with honor until giving his life when his Humvee struck an IED during his deployment.
James showed commitment and courage at a young age, enlisting before graduating high school to serve his country. His dedication, bravery, and willingness to step into danger reflected a deep sense of duty and a strong, selfless character.
James left a legacy of sacrifice, courage, and devotion to service. His willingness to answer the call at such a young age continues to inspire others to live with purpose, honor, and a commitment to something greater than themselves.
