About Harold Miller

United States Army Private Harold Miller served with Company C, 44th Armored Regiment during World War II. During training, he was injured in a tank accident that affected his vision and hearing, leading to his removal from active duty and ending his military service. Sadly, the trauma he experienced while serving eventually led to his suicide.

Miller was remembered by his family as a man deeply loved and respected. Though his time in service was cut short, his place in a proud family tradition of military service left a lasting impression on those who knew him and those who followed.

Miller’s legacy endures through his family, who continue to honor his service and memory. He is remembered as one of the first in his family to serve, a role that helped shape generations who followed in commitment to country and duty.
