About Richard Jules Medina
RJ served as an Airman First Class in the 757th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron at Nellis AFB, Nevada. He enlisted in the USAF in 2017, embodying the same selfless spirit that defined his whole life — always showing up for others, never calculating what he stood to gain.
RJ was passionate, compassionate, and effortlessly funny. He lit up every room without a word and made everyone feel like things would be alright. A devoted husband, father, big brother, and friend — he loved people openly and generously, and gave without ever expecting anything in return.
RJ leaves behind his daughter Koralyn Kayla, and a family across Hawaiʻi, Nevada, Texas, Montana, and the Philippines. He is remembered for his aloha spirit, his adventurous heart, and his boundless love. He lives on in every smile he inspired and every life he touched.
