Austin Derek Aldridge served as a Deputy First Class with the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office. After graduating from the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy in 2019, he faithfully protected and served his community until giving his life in the line of duty.

Austin was kindhearted, patient, and deeply loyal, with a strong faith in God. He loved his family, friends, and community, serving both as a deputy and on his church’s security team. His courage, humility, and genuine spirit made a lasting impact on everyone around him.

Austin left a legacy of faith, love, and sacrifice. His devotion to his family – including his wife and unborn child – his service to others, and his unwavering character continue to inspire his community to live with courage, compassion, and strong faith.
