Relay to honor nation’s heroes passes through Cleveland, Northeast Ohio
CLEVELAND — CLEVELAND — A few dozen people walked through Northeast Ohio on Monday, despite the rain, to show support for our nation’s heroes and never forget those who gave their lives for our country.
“The purpose of ‘Carry The Load’ is keeping the true meaning of Memorial Day in our minds,” says Marine Corp Veteran Rick Peacor. “It’s not about barbecues or family get togethers, it’s actually about paying homage, honor to those that fought for our country, military and first responders.”
