WESTFIELD, Ind.–You’ll have a chance to show your support for people who have been in the military and have made sacrifices Monday in Westfield. At 5 a.m. in Quaker Park, Ron Russell will put on a backpack loaded with sand and brick, and walk 22 miles.

“The 22 stands for that on the average there are 22 veterans that commit suicide,” he said. Russell is leading the Carry the Load Indy walk for the third time. It’s part of a national walk that honors veterans.
