COLLEGE STATION, Texas — “Who are you carrying?” That’s the question you are most likely to hear as dozens of people, carrying flags, walk through town.

“Carry the Load,” is a cross-state relay where those participating raise awareness to those who have served this country, giving the ultimate sacrifice.

It takes place in the prior weeks to Memorial Day. Serving as a reminder to those who are celebrating, the true meaning of the holiday.
