Sergeant Kris Biggs was serving in the U.S. Army, on his second tour in Iraq, when a suicide car bomb struck his vehicle, killing two people. Kris sustained multiple broken bones, a brain injury, and two shattered legs, which led to the amputation of his left leg below the knee.

After the Army, Kris dedicated his life to serving Veterans through multiple non-profit organizations. He was the most magnetic and charismatic human who always knew how to make those around him laugh and cherish every moment.

“Kris, we will carry you with us and never forget all you’ve given to us,” recalled friend David Vobora.
