Officer Craig L. Shaw served with the Lancaster Police Department for five years and volunteered won a tactical team with the Southern Regional Response Group. He was shot and killed after responding to a shooting call at a local apartment complex.

Whether feeding a vacationing neighbor’s dog, or working a holiday night shift, Shaw reportedly never said no. His Chief said, “He was an outstanding officer, outstanding husband, outstanding son, outstanding father, and an outstanding man.”
