For over 20 years, Grapevine High School has hosted their annual Veterans Day program to bring the veteran community and their students together. This year, they organized a “Red Carpet Thank You” event, where they transformed the school’s main hallway into a red-carpet event complete with music, decorations, and students. Veterans were invited to walk down the red carpet while students and staff applauded and thanked them for their service. Afterward, they featured a presentation by Carry The Load co-founder and CEO, Stephen Holley, where he praised the students for honoring our nation’s heroes. After the event concluded, the veterans were invited to a breakfast hosted by the school’s student council where both veterans and students were able to connect and share their stories.
