Sergeant Thomas C. Rosenbaum joined the Army in 1997. He was assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division prior to moving to 4th Battalion, 5th Air Defense Artillery Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood, Texas. He was killed when an improvised explosive device hit his convoy vehicle in Baghdad, Iraq.
Chad was strong and funny. He was a great teammate and a courageous soldier. “He was fearless. He had a peace about him that he wasn’t afraid of anything,” recalled a family friend.
Sergeant Rosenbaum was survived by his son Ty Rosenbaum.
