Jason Santos, the East Coast Regional Manager shared that he is one of the only people still around from the first relay in 2012. “We reflect back and kind of laugh,” Santos said. “We did this the first year in 2012 in a rented little Winnebago (RV) and coming across the country and not really knowing what we were doing, what we were getting ourselves into.” Since then, Carry The Load has grown into five charter buses. Those buses start at different points and go all across the country simultaneously. The buses will also come into Dallas on the Sunday before Memorial Day.
