Todd W. Krodle
Fallen Hero’s Hometown and State: Greenville , TX
Branch of Service: Fire and Rescue
Rank: Lt.
Lieutenant Todd Wesley Krodle lived his dream of serving as a firefighter with the Dallas Fire-Rescue Department. An 18-year veteran, he lost his life in a 2-alarm apartment fire in West Dallas. Todd loved those he worked with and the community that he served, and was equally loved in return.
Described by his crew as, “the greatest officer we had ever known,” Krodle was what every man should strive to be: the consummate husband to his wife Kelli and father to his children Cade and Caroline, a faithful son and brother, and the epitome of character and integrity with a relentless work ethic Krodle’s belief in Christ was first in his life and followed Him until his last breath.
The Lieutenant Todd Wesley Krodle Memorial Foundation was established in 2014 to carry forward the legacy of Krodle’s life by giving back to the Dallas Fire-Rescue Department community that he loved so much.
