Born and raised in Dallas, Stan Wilson joined the Dallas Fire-Rescue Department in February 1985. His career with the department spanned 28 years, with the last 20 at Station 53 B, where he served as Second Driver. Stan answered his final alarm while courageously battling a six-alarm apartment fire.
A faithful husband to his wife Jenny, and a devoted father to his sons, Noah and Luke, Stan was active in Boy Scouts, liked to snow ski, and was involved with his church. Stan had a heart for serving others.
He had a true love for his brothers in the fire department and all that they stood for. He was proud of his department, his station, and the skills bestowed upon him to serve the citizens of Dallas. Stan Wilson died as he lived, giving his life for others.
