Lloyd E. Moseley Jr. became a fireman in 1990 at the age of 36. He served at several stations during his time as a fireman/paramedic, with most of his time spent at Station 18, Station 7, Station 56, and finally Station 48 before moving into Fire Dispatch. In 2018, he was diagnosed with occupational cancer. After giving it his all, Lloyd passed away five months later.
Lloyd was known for his booming laugh, his big hugs, and the ability to find God’s grace in every situation – even while battling cancer. He never knew a stranger and could always find the silver lining in any situation.
With a servant’s heart, Lloyd will be remembered as a man of God who constantly had a smile on his face and a mischievous twinkle in his eye. He was an incredible husband and father, and a fantastic Papaw to his grandkids, Kenny and Maddie. Psalm 31:24
