Specialist Jeremy F. Regnier joined the military in 2000, serving six months in the New Hampshire Army National Guard before choosing to switch to active duty. He served a tour in South Korea before deploying to Iraq, where he was assigned to the 4th Battalion, 5th Air Defense Artillery Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood, Texas. Regnier was killed when an improvised explosive device detonated near his patrol in Baghdad, Iraq.
Jeremy was selfless and dedicated to a life of service. “He’d give you the shirt off his back,” said Kevin Regnier, his father, “He’d do anything for anybody.” He had a tattoo on one arm with a skull wearing an Army helmet—a sign of his commitment to the military.
Jeremy was survived by Kevin Regnier (father) and Amanda Regnier (sister).
