Corporal Jacob Moore had a deep admiration for his country and always wanted to join the Armed Forces. He enlisted in the Marine Corp and graduated from boot camp in 2018. After a year of training, he became a crew chief on a V-22 Osprey and deployed to Spain. In February 2022 he was sent to Norway for NATO training where an aviation mishap aboard the V-22 Osprey took his life.
Jacob was funny, humble, handsome, polite, and respectful to others and possessed an amazing sense of humor. His service in the Marines earned several decorations, including the Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, and the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal.
Cpl. Moore knew the risk he was taking to defend our country. Bravery in choosing his path of service led to the ultimate sacrifice of his life. He died a valiant brave hero, serving his country and always taking care of others before himself, fiercely protecting family, friends, and his country until the very end.
