Fallen Hero’s Hometown and State: Round Rock, TX
Branch of Service: Fort Worth Police Department
Rank: Officer
Officer Henry “Hank” Nava Jr. proudly served the Fort Worth Police Department as a member of the Special Response Team (SRT) Unit for 14 years. Hank always had a smile on his face and loved his job more than life itself. He was a loving husband, devoted father and son, friend to all and a reliable public servant. As a family man, he was known for his contagious smile, love of baseball and dedication to law enforcement. The two phrases that can best describe Officer Nava were “Gung Ho” and “Ready for Duty!”
Officer Nava’s passion, which he loved more than life itself, was the job he was doing. He possessed a tireless diligence to do what God placed upon his heart in this life. While Hank’s smile is missed, his dedication to community lives on in the family he loved so well. Officer Hank Nava wanted his kids to have the world and he worked to make this world a better place for them.
