Cesar proudly served in the US Marine Corps including a tour during the Iraq Freedom Campaign. Once he completed the tour he continued to serve his community as an Irving Police Officer since 2006. His assignments included Hostage Negotiations, Patrol, Gang Unit and Recruiting.

Cesar earned more than 25 Commendations and was awarded the Police Certificate Merit Bar in 2013. Cesar was an avid baseball fan who loved the Texas Rangers and volunteered as a baseball coach for a youth league.

He also loved MMA, Jujitsu and running. Cesar had a big heart – always wanted to help everyone and make everyone laugh. He loved his family and was a great father, a dedicated police officer and an amazing man.
