Adam joined the Navy in 1998 and the SEALs in 2001. Fighting through numerous injuries, he served with several East Coast-based SEAL teams and was deployed in several combat operations in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Adam was killed while assaulting an enemy compound in Komar Province, Afghanistan. He was the recipient of numerous commendations including the Purple Heart, Bronze Star with Combat “V’ and was posthumously awarded the Silver Star.

Devoted to his family and friends, he will be remembered for his strong faith, love of country and for being the true embodiment of the never quit mentality. He was fearless.
