Carry The Load set to move the Bossier City on Wednesday

BOSSIER CITY, La. – The public will walk with Carry The Load’s National Relay through Bossier City on Wednesday to honor and remember our nation’s fallen military and first responders.

Carry The Load’s mission is to restore the true meaning of Memorial Day and it has grown into a nationwide movement with five routes covering 20,000 miles across 48 states.

The group is expected to walk through the Teague Parkway Recreation Area and Walker Place Park in Bossier City. They’ll gather at the Teague Parkway Recreation Area shortly after 5 p.m. and begin walking at 5:30 p.m.

The national relay begins in Dallas on Memorial Day weekend.
